Induction heating (IH) technology is very popular in domestic applications because of its efficiency and safe operating properties. Resonant inverter circuits are widely used IH systems owing to their high soft-switching capability. Among the resonant inverters systems, single-switch quasi-resonant topology generally preferred for low-cost low-output-power applications. Despite advantage inverter, range quite narrow, it not stable depending on electrical parameters load that desired be heated. In other words, there a critical relationship between characteristics pan, turn-on, turn-off times, which control semiconductor switch, working conditions. addition, when importance closed-loop methods evaluated together with selection circuit elements, essential determine whether suitable heating, properties provide both reliable efficient This study focuses new load-detection method based analysis induction hobs. After determining parameters, turn-on times switch were determined obtain lowest possible switching loss. Therefore, boundary conditions maintained within these limits. The proposed advantages area theoretically examined proved through simulations prototype circuits.
